Before his role as CEO in Vipps Mobile Pay, Garborg served as the Head of Vipps, the leading mobile wallet service in Norway. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in expanding Vipps beyond peer-to-peer payments, facilitating its transformation into a comprehensive payment platform.

Garborg's professional experience also includes key positions at DNB, one of Norway's largest financial institutions. As the Group Executive Vice President of Vipps and Payments, he spearheaded strategic initiatives and led the development of innovative payment solutions. Prior to this, he served as the Marketing Director in various divisions of DNB.
