By purchasing a ticket you accept the following rules and regulations:
Right to cancel event:
The organiser retains the right to at any time cancel the event in its entirety both before and during the program. If such an incident were to occur the ticket fee will be returned, unless the event is caused by external forces and/or force majeure.
Cancellation of order:
The organizer has full rights to cancel any order at any time.
Right to disqualify and exclude participants:
The organiser retains the right to disqualify and exclude any attendee from participating in the event at any time before and during the event, for reasons of (but not limited to) sexual or other harassment, illegal activity, immoral behaviour or disruption of activities.
Right to share contact details with trusted partners
The Organizer have the right to share your contact details with trusted partners for marketing and communication purposes.
Accept the "be nice in startup community policy"
As a member of your startup community, you agree to be inclusive of any and all people and their ideas. You agree to act professionally, treat everyone with respect, and treat the event facilities with proper care. You agree that you are responsible for any accidents or damages that you cause. You also agree not to hold the organizers, your local volunteer team, or any of the event supporters liable for any loss, damage, injury, or any other unforeseeable incident.
We can document and share your attendance for marketing purposes:
By attending Startup Extreme, each attendee grants the organizer and it's licensees and successors a non-exclusive, perpetual, non-cancelable, royalty free, fully paid up, worldwide right and license to edit, modify, transcript, adapt, translate, exhibit, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer of, reproduce, copy, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, display and otherwise use all and/or any part of such attendees’s names, likenesses, photographs, voices, images and company representation of all persons referenced and/or appearing in materials generated at the event, without limitation, anywhere in the world in any form (tangible or intangible, permanent or ephemeral, including, without limitation, audio, video, print, electronic, written, and photographic) and via any transmission medium (including, without limitation, television, radio, Internet, and print) now existing or that may exist in the future for advertising, trade, promotion, publicity and other related purposes without compensation and without notice to or consideration, review or approval from attendee.

Each Participant further agrees to (i) be questioned or interviewed (whether in person or by other means such as email or phone), filmed and/or photographed and available for interviewing, filming, photography and for other public relations, marketing and promotional activities associated with the Event, as reasonably required and directed by the Organizer, (ii) allow the Organiser to make contact with the Participant (whether in person, by phone, email or otherwise) for the purpose of requesting further information from the Participant in relation to their participation or for any other purpose related to the event. Each Participant represents and warrants that neither its participation, nor the Organiser’s exercise of any of the rights granted to it under these Terms will (a) infringe or violate any rights of any third party or entity, including, without limitation, those relating to patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, moral rights, mask works, defamation, privacy, publicity, false light, misappropriation, confidentiality, and/or any contractual or other rights recognizable under any applicable law, rule, regulation, ordinance, judgement or decree (collectively, “Law”), or (b) otherwise violate any applicable Law.
Refund policy:
We have a 30-days refund policy, where tickets can be refunded no questions asked 30 days after they are booked in CheckIn. This applies until January 1st 2024. After that no refunds will be given.
Bought ticket: 06.09.2023 - 31.12.2023 - you have 30 days refund
Bought ticket 01.01.2024 - 24.04.2024 - no refund
Insurance:
It is the participant's responsibility to have insurance. This insurance must cover extreme activities if you have selected to take part in an activity.
Insidents of Force Majour
The legual language: Any event affecting the performance of the planned or promised deliverables from the Organizer, arising from or attributable to acts, events, omissions, or accidents which are beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer, due to insidents of Force Majeure such as (but not limited to) any abnormally inclement weather, flood, lightning, storm, fire, explosion, earthquake, subsidence, structural damage, epidemic or other natural physical disaster, transport, disruptions, failure or shortage of power supplies, war, military operations, riot, crowd disorder, strike, lock-outs or other industrial action, terrorist action, civil commotion and any legislation, regulations, ruling or omission of any relevant government, court, competent national authority or governing body, free the Organizer from any duties of fulfillment of the deliverables promised by the purchase of a ticket or any other conference products such as (but not limited to ) dinners, activities, accomodation or travel, and the Organizer is not obliged to compensate any loss related to the purchaser of the above mentioned products.
The practical language: In any case of insidents happening outside of our control that force us to cancel the event, or change the planned deliverables, we are not obliged to pay back, or compensate the price of the ticket, or any other products, puchased related to Startup Extreme.
