Merete Nygaard

Merete Nygaard is an Oslo-based lawyer-turned-entrepreneur. She founded Lexolve in 2017, Norway's first disruptor of the B2B legal sector. Since then, she has played a prominent role in driving innovation across the legal industry. Her passion lies in promoting access to justice for all, which has led her to create one of the world's largest legal tech communities and initiate legal hackathons. Merete is also a strong advocate for breaking the lawyer monopoly in Norway. In addition to her work in the legal sector, she is deeply engaged in creating a solid legal and political foundation for growth companies in Norway and has recently spearheaded a debate on their behalf.
