Jarle Aambø

Jarle Aambø has more than 35 years of leading positions within top performance sport positions, whereas 10 years was served as Elite Sport Director of Olympiatoppen, Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports, the organization responsible for support and developing Norwegian elite sport. In this position he was also Chef du mission in 5 Olympics. All together he has been coach and leading roles in 13 Olympics, and member of the Paralympic team 5 times. He led the organisation during the golden age of Norwegian Elite Sport.

Formerly Aambø held the positions as a National Team Coach and the Sports Director of the National Alpine Team for eight years, receiving 23 Olympic and World Champion medals - up from 0.

During recent years, he has developed the Norwegian High Performance Cluster, where he currently serves as CEO. The cluster gathers top performers in art, sports and business among others, creating an interdisciplinary platform. https://www.prestasjonskultur.no‍
