Danae Ringelmann

Danae Ringelmann is an American tech entrepreneur, board member, advisor, small-business owner, and emerging regenerative farmer now living in Norway. She co-owns Huso Lodge & Farm - a wellness-minded lodge and farm nestled in the mountains of Hemsedal. Danae recently spent a year as an Exec-in-Residence with StartupLab in Oslo. Before moving to Norway Danae co-founded Indiegogo, the first global crowdfunding platform where she remains an active board member. Prior to Indiegogo, Danae was a Securities Analyst on Wall Street and a CFA charter holder. Danae holds an MBA from UC Berkeley, and a BA with Honors from UNC-Chapel Hill, where she was a Morehead Scholar and varsity rower. Honours include 2016 World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, Fortune Magazine’s 40 under 40, Inc. Magazine’s April 2016 Cover, and Fast Company’s Top 50 Women Innovators in Tech. Danae has spoken extensively around the world including talks at SXSW, Web Summit, The Next Web, TEDx, SLUSH, and a testimony to the U.S. House Small Business Subcommittee. Current interests include regenerative farming, functional medicine, and tech “in-service-of” nature.
